Our Mission
Our mission is to evolve the education system to one where students’ emotional preparation and well-being is at its core
About Us
The YV Foundation, which stands for You Version 2.0, was started by three close friends that share a passion for education and parenting. After selling their business, which helped more than 800 Universities across the United States, to the Education Advisory Board, they underwent mental health struggles that they could have never anticipated. That’s when they realized that even though the education system had prepared them for financial success, it had done nearly nothing to prepare them to thrive emotionally and lead a fulfilled life. Hence, the YV Foundation was born in 2015.

Mr. Simon
3rd Grade Teacher
“I am now more sensitive to how children feel when they arrive each morning, and I know those emotions are a call to attention that I keep in mind throughout the day to guide them appropriately.”

Ms. Bigham
Lower School Principal
“The YV Foundation has been a game-changer for us. It has helped us reduce behavioral referrals by 40% and has also significantly improved the overall school climate.”
